Founded in 2002 we have set a standard for ethical tourism in an area of India in which tourism is a relatively new phenomenon, and whose tribal inhabitants are particularly vulnerable to exploitation.
GreenGondwana has recently been taken over by a former client, Sophie Hartman, whose intention is to continue the good work done by the company’s late founder John Ash, who died in January 2008. John’s original team of expert local guides, drivers and operations manager remain on the ground keen to continue to share with our guests the extraordinary, under-visited sights and peoples of Chhattisgarh.
